Nostalgic .: I AM Cafe

When my friends told me we'll be visiting I am cafe, I am like... What kind of cafe is this? But after she show me pictures of their food, my saliva went wild in my mouth.

Don't these pictures make you wanna look at them yourself and have a taste of it?

It's located at Haji Lane, not very difficult to find right?

It's just a small cafe located at a corner which I always walk pass and ignored. I didn't even realise the amount of people that's dinning there. It's kinda packed, fully occupied when we got there. It's a god location to chill with your friends, have a simple date.

Had fun with these bunch of bitches after how field trip to Holiday Inn. I am cafe is not hot and stuffy, it's actually very comfortable. I love how nice their people are. They provide good service and not get pissed even when I keep changing my mind. Nice people they have. They even have smoking corners, so for smokers who wanna dine there, you're welcomed.

Peak at the menu. This cafe is a little pricey to me, but you can just take it as you're paying for the quality time spend with your love ones as well!!

Now for the food!!!!!

RAINBOW CAKE!!! This was my first time trying a rainbow cake. To be honest, I thought each layer tastes differently. Tsk, too naive la. It's very appealing and tasted not to bad. It's not too sweet but it's better to share with like 3-4 people. Their cakes are huge. They come in huge slices that will be too much for one. You'll either be full without the main dishes, or get sick of the cream.

RED VELVET CAKE. Their red velvet is awesome! I feel that the texture for the red velvet is slighty different from the rainbow cake. It's either this has been stored is a refrigerated place for quite awhile or the rainbow cake is just out from the oven not long ago. This isn't too sweet as well, not the sickening-want-to-drink-a-lot-of-water-sweet. It's just nice, the colour is bright, the taste is right.

Smores cake. I am not a fan of marshmallows, so I didn't really enjoy this. I took bites of what's underneath and it's like.. Very chocolately. Much much sweeter than the two above. This is suitable for those who have really really sweet tooth. The chocolate is thick and.. Just not something I will put in my for long. After like 2 bites, I got quite sick of it already. It might just be me coz I am not a fan of heavy taste, some might beg to differ (: Try it yourself!

This cafe is really colourful! Even their drinks are so bright. I didn't give these drinks a try but I am sure they taste as good as the look. Cool and refreshing drink for a hot and humid Singapore weather.

House brewed lemon tea. I can the glass interesting, so I changed my order of coke to this instead. It's pretty la, but a little too sour. I added half of the sugar syrup that's on the left. It's either half or 3/4 of it. It taste pretty well though.

Calamari rings. They're quite hard for my liking.. But it's nicely fried and decorated.

Chicken satay burger! Taste like satay lo, but in burger.

Beef burger. Their beef burger is WOW! It's juicy, really juicy. There's pineapple, onion and cheese inside. The combination is great. I love this dish. I will even go back just for this.

Even the bread itself taste like it's been grilled. Very well done dish.

I AM cafe is a halal certified restaurant, so even the muslims can enjoy them! Because I have muslim friends who are particular about this, they specially search this up and bring all of us there and try. It wasn't disappointing, it was an enjoyable experience.

I would rate them..
Service 9/10, all service can be improve one ma. If full marks means they don't need to improve.
Taste 6.5/10, because I don't really like some of them. Maybe I should try something else.
Ambiance 8/10, nice and cozy.
Overall 8.5/10
