SOH OI !!! Camp was fun . 2 days passed . It went by to quickly that I hardly noticed . Fun times like this , voom . Gone . Looking forward to the Orientation Camp !! Team 6 , shall we keep in touch ? Oh yah , btw , those 2 girls above are HanYi and Samantha . New friends I made in team 6 , awesome people !!
I wasn't expecting much from this camp before hand . Probably it's because all my secondary school friends from SOH weren't attending . And I'm like , whuuuutttt :X I have to attend to camp alone , make friends alone .. I'm not the smiley type when it comes with people I have totally no idea of . Well , yes . I tried my best to smile upon every eye contact I made , that made me more approachable, right peeps ?
This is day 1's tea break . Lunch was at around 1PM , tea break at 4 ? Awesomenessssss ~ I just love how the OGLs in RP take care of us . So caring , so energetic , so on . I like it when people are on , it gives me confident in doing what I'm told . Screaming with a bunch of people you don't even know ? Hell no . But they made me do it , within an ice breaking game . What shit ? Cool . It's also because people from team 6 are more open , more friendly , more approachable . I'm lovin team 6 la .
So what did we do on the first day ? CHEER AND CHEER AND CHEER . We had ice breaking games where we got to know each other , TRIED to remember each others name . Then we had amazing race . Amazing race was fun . It made the whole team bond even more . It's like , you gotta work with people whom you only know their names , age , course and their ambition when they were 5 ! How to work ? If it were my secondary school , such bonding won't happen AT ALL . We played , we cheered , we encouraged . Muscle ache immediately after one duck walk station .. It wasn't even a proper duck walk , just a half squat walk . Guess I gotta start exercising , my muscles are getting weak >< Then we had to plan a skit , and showcase the skit in about 30 minutes time ? Basically , everybody's outline seems similar . The theme was ' ONE RP ' . The the outline , fall out > fight > ONE RP > Patch up . Seems boring , but it's fun . It's when you see your efforts pay off . It's just such a satisfying feeling .
This is day 2's tea break (: Shiok right ? Day 2 is even better . We had a color code , black . Well , I messed it up and came in blue . But who care's ? It's still near to black :P And , I contribute my shouting can liao !! EHH WAHH EHH WAHH EHH WAHH !!! We started day 2 with ... MASS DANCE . Mass dance was awesome until I had to leave the hall for rehersal . I partnered HanYi at first . Then Sarah , my OGL , came and split us up , one boy , one girl . But it's with our agreement la . My partner then became Jervase . He's fun to be with , really . Easy going (: I'm sure HanYi felt that way about her partner too . Previously , and mass dance was an EEW to me , partnering a guy , was an even bigger NONO . But this time , I found out it didn't matter anymore . As long as we all have fun , it's alright (: Gotta leave half way , so sad . Practiced dance for awhile . Felt outcasted for a moment , but it's alright !! HanYi and I got everything settled . We just talked to each other , practiced with each other , oh , and with another girl , Natalie . Joined back team 6 for lunch , then CHEER !! Cheering seems so fun to me now . It used to be unnecessary screaming , but I've finally found the fun in it ! SO COOL ! Competing with the other teams , bombing here bombing there ! A game of drawing-your-team's-flag followed . The flag is for the hide-and-seek game . A short 10 minutes of drawing got me laughing till I teared . It's been so long since I teared from laughing . It's always in school that this happens , I have a great feeling RP is the best choice I've ever made . Hide-and-seek was violent man ! We run around , stopping committees to give us green folded plastic straw hearts , it's of higher points I think ? Then we gotta go around the campus to look for transparent ones . It's like running man , you get one territory each . We are allowed to go to the other territory to steal hearts . So our flag was like empty all the way because we kept them in our pockets XD Smart right ? Every team that saw our unguarded flag will run , and then leave feeling disappointed . HAHA . And a mini cat fight between HanYi , Priya , Me , and 2 girls of another team . SUPER VIOLENT . We locked ourselves in one cubicle of the toilet , kneel on the floor pulling each other apart . WOW . Girl power ! HAHA ! Then it's prize presentation and dance performance (: HanYi , Vanessa and I are involved , so we danced (:
The parting was kinda unbearable for me . Short 2 days , great strong bonds . Totally worth it . I'm glad I didn't back out because my school friends ain't coming . If not I'll not all these great and awesome peeps !! They're like the best team mates I've ever had ! OBS peeps were great , but team 6 , wow , just wow .

AND THIS ! My favourite photo of the 3 of us . SOH camp is a camp that I'll remember . When people asked , I'll tell them all my lovely moments , all my screaming , cheering laughing moments . We sweat , we laughed , we scream , we squat , we fight together . Well , this is team work . Real team work . Differences apart , we just fight and made this camp a better camp . Thank you guys ! You guys brighten up the beginning of my school days , I believe there's more to come . Let's get high during Orientation !!
